How do I know if I can benefit from counselling or coaching?If you are experiencing emotional difficulties, situational difficulties, or a life transition and would like to speak with a professional counselling services would work best for you. If you are working in a helping practice and feeling isolated from other service providers or require guidance on practice service delivery then consulting would be the service for you.

What can I expect us to work on together?In counselling you will gain coping skills, emotional relief, clarity, and personal growth. If you are working as a couple or family you will gain a greater understanding, emotional awareness of each other and develop tools to help you work together through difficult times. In consultation, you will get clinical feedback and coaching on your practice or therapeutic cases.

Do you provide the materials needed for our sessions?Session materials for consultation or therapy are provided via email or online virtually in the session using secure screen sharing options.

How many sessions will I need?Short-term therapy will be 6-12 sessions, with some people finding benefit after only a few sessions Longer-term therapy may require anywhere from 12 to 20+ sessions. Please speak with your counselor if you have questions about longer-term therapy. Consultation is booked on an as needed basis.

What is your cancellation policy?Full payment of the appointment fee is required for appointments canceled on the same day. Please speak to your therapist if you are canceling due to illness.

How far in advance do I need to book?Therapy sessions may be booked up to two to three weeks in advance depending on the time of year, you may have the option to book sooner or later in the month. Please call your therapist to book an appointment.

Do you work with children?Yes, I work with school-age children ages 8+. Please call to see if spaces are open in this age group.
